The laid back vibe of this couple could be felt from the very start. Arriving at a stunning rural property we found the bride and her bridesmaids enjoying the serenity of the morning, there was no stress, no feelings of needing to hurry, just a bride and her best friends. Between sips of champagne and laughter the morning was seamless, as Karis prepared herself for her magical day.
Part of this may have had something to do with the Man Karis was about to marry. Most would assume that when it comes to a wedding day the main person organising everything is the bride, but when it comes to Micah and Karis it was all the grooms doing. His organisational skills and eye for detail are like no other, planning much of the day himself including the stunning ceremony location.
The air was cool as the sun shone on the manicured gardens set against the backdrop of the blue mountains at the picturesque Seclusions venue. The bride was breathtaking as she walked down the aisle in her own personally designed dress to her eagerly awaiting groom.
Micah and Karis shared their vows and first kiss as husband and wife during the intimate ceremony surrounded by family and close friends before heading off with the bridal party for a wander through the forest for photos.
As the sun set the reception was enjoyed by everyone as the relaxed atmosphere allowed for heartfelt speeches including the best man’s, who spoke of the groom (his brother) and their other brother, and the journeys the three boys had gone on together through life, resulting in a lot of laughter and even possibly a tear from the best man.
As the night continued, first dances were had, selfies were taken, drinks were shared and laughter was endless throughout the night that came to an end as the guests farewelled the bride and groom with an arch of sparklers before they headed off to begin their new adventure.
