Casey and Brendan’s day began as relaxed as they are. Brendan enjoying the sunshine and beer at his family home with his mates while Casey was surrounded by friends and family calmly enjoying the chaos the a wedding morning brings.
Getting to video a wedding requires us to tell a story of the day, we not only have to tell the story but capture those special moments within the day so when it came to the time to farewell the bride before she began her journey to her ceremony and her future husband we were able to capture a traditional Sri Lankan toast as the extended family arrived at the house to raise a glass and wish for love and happiness as the bride begins her new chapter in her life.
What would follow was a stunning ceremony at The Morning Star Estate, nestled amongst the walls of a century old mansion, where Casey and Brendan shared heart felt personal vows and their first kiss as Husband and Wife.
During the Bridal photoshoot Casey had her heart set on being captured around animals so we headed to the paddock to find a herd of Cows who unfortunately were not as keen to be captured with the bride and groom. It was still awesome to watch a stunning bride wander through the paddock calling to the cows to come close.
The Reception followed at the Commonfolk, a funky cafe in Mornington where the Bride and Groom celebrated into the night with a vietnamese Food truck, drinks, and dancing, Before saying their final farewells as they left under the arms of a human arch.
